About Me

I work with the person as a whole rather than just working with a specific issue.
I believe that all our life experience shape us as we move through life. My hope is by working together that we can address any current distress you are in and look at underlying patterns as to where this may have arisen.
I believe that individuals can change and grow.
The world around us is constantly changing and how we adapt to that can be a source of stress and joy. My philosophy is that everyone is a good person at their core and has the capacity to change both themselves and, to some extent, their circumstances, to find peace.
I believe that finding meaning and a purpose in life is the source of long-lasting contentment.
How we experience the world (our relationship with ourself and others) and how others experience us impact on our identity, our actions and our sense of ease of being in the world.
Understanding and empathising with how you experience the world is a key part of my relational and person-centred approach. I work with adults of all genders and sexualities, and of all ages (16+), races, religions and ethnicities.
I work relationally, which means I believe that change happens in and through relationships.
Part of the counselling journey is often to rediscover and overcome negative self-beliefs.
I am a member of the BACP (British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy) and work ethically, in accordance with their guidelines. I have a high moral code that I live by and this comes across in the professionalism and confidentiality of my counselling work. I will always do my utmost to act in your best interests and to offer you the optimum opportunity for the change you require in the counselling space.
I embrace difference and diversity.
Clients need to be based in the UK.
